“My husband and me stayed here for two nights and we wish we have booked for many more!
(La) Casa De Soledad is surrounded by nature, and all you can hear is the sound of nature and the sound of river just across the house. The owners Mr. John and Soledad are a lovely couple, and they are also very helpful and kind the all time … Sole is a great cook and she will do anything to satisfy your requests … very sad to leave that magical place … Mr. John is also very nice and helpful and he speaks very good English … WE DO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THAT IS LOOKING FOR A VERY CLEAN AND QUIET PLACE, WITH GREAT FOOD!!!”

“My husband and I shared a double room at this beautiful B&B … Spacious, clean and comfortable … Almost more tasty food than we could manage to eat … Lovely homemade fruit juices, such as cashew juice and sorrel juice … Definitely take your camera or a sketch pad … This B&B is the best I’ve ever stayed in.”

First choice
“We spent three nights here after being greeted by our host John at the Hedman Alas depot. Upon arrival at La Villa we warmly greeted by Soledad with fresh chilled passion fruit juice and shown to our room with fine views of the river valley and the park beyond. To call this a B&B is an understatement. No B&B has a fountain courtyard and an elegant, grand covered entrance court like La Villa. This is top of the run accommodation where yet we were treated like members of the family. John was an exceptional host informing us of the many attractions of the area and also all of Honduras … He was easily equalled by Soledad’s warmth, hospitality and exquisite culinary skills. We were fortunate to be able to eat all of our meals here, the best dining we have had in all Honduras … In the late afternoon, awaiting the dinner meal, you can lie in your hammock watching the hummingbirds come to the garden flowers or the many other colorful birds coming to the garden trees or flying through the valley. And who can forget the sight of a toucan flying past or perched in one of the exotic trees in the grounds.”
