Artwork by Jorge Restrepo

At La Villa de Soledad B&B we are proud to promote local artists who have distinguished themselves as leading painters in Honduras. We have slowly gotten together a collection of unique artwork that we are proud of. Not only does it help give a special sense of place to our inn, it also complements what we consider it good taste in our décor throughout our Bed and Breakfast.

Jorge Restrepo was actually born in Colombia, but worked for many years as a scholar at the Escuela Panamericana de Agricultura, also known as Zamorano. The greens and blues in Honduras inspired his work, which we proudly display in the hallway around our interior courtyard. The painting that we have is titled “Honduras” and truly represents the different shades of green and blue you will find throughout this beautiful country we call Honduras.
