Why visit Honduras?

Over one million tourists set their feet in Honduras last year, and they all enjoyed themselves and found the country to be friendly, beautiful and safe. Many of these tourists are actually planning their next trip to Honduras, as they found the country to be safe and inviting!

There is an adventurer in most of us. This is why a traveler chooses to visit Central America, because it is still off the beaten path, you can still live genuine, authentic experiences during your travels to this part of the World. If you are looking for a vacation where everything is preset, calculated to the last minute, and everything will go exactly as planned, I suggest a trip to Disneyworld or a guided tour to Europe.  Why visit Honduras? Because Honduras is authentic and genuine, because its people are friendly and welcoming, because you will live an experience that you will cherish for a long time…

Why visit Honduras

Honduras is the least visited country in Central America, and as such, you will not be overrun by tourists. Nothing worse that arriving at a remote location and finding it has been turned into a tourist trap! In Honduras, a visit to the Copan Archaeological site will be a magical experience, much unlike it is when you visit the Archaeological site of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan and find thousands of visitors touring the site. Why visit Honduras? Because you can dive the reefs off the Bay Islands or Utila, Guanaja, Roatan and Cayos Cochinos and you will not be overtaken by swarm of divers all trying to take in the beauty of the barrier reef like you will find in Cozumel.

Honduras has some magnificent National Parks. The destination known as Atlantida offers a total of 8 protected areas / national parks within its realm, and here, you will enjoy different habitats without the hordes of tourists hiking the trails as you will find in Costa Rica.

Hopefully by now, the answer to why visit Honduras has been answered. However if you still have some doubts, I can add a couple more: Honduras is affordable. Much more affordable that Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, Costa Rica and Panama. Your dollar or euro will go a lot further in Honduras than in the rest of the above mentioned countries.
