Central America Travel App

Did you know there is a Central America Travel app? Well I am sure your answer was no… I have been involved in tourism in Honduras and Central America for the last 20 plus years, and despite the fact that I have been a board member of Canaturh (National Chamber of Tourism of Honduras) and have visited their offices many times over the years, was not aware of the fact that such an app exists!

Best of all is the fact that this is a free app, which means you can download it to your smart phone at no cost and have information available at hand regarding hotels, restaurants, tour operators, and activities to do in the 7 Central American countries: Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama! This Central America Travel app is a great tool that has just been sitting there without being used by the different travel related businesses in Central America!

I was happy to find that information that I sent a couple of years ago was actually included and that our lovely boutique bed and breakfast, La Villa de Soledad is indeed featured in this app! What is needed now is to update the information to make sure we have the best up to date pics, as well as information to make sure that we can use this tool to effectively promote our business and destination.

On my to do list is to make sure that all travel businesses in the Cangrejal River Valley are featured in this app, and that we can adequately portray our destination with all of the services that are available, so that travelers within Central America make it a point to include us in their itinerary! I recommend you look for the app at your smart phone virtual store and download it! The Central America Travel app is a great tool to research and plan your trip through the region!
